A public sector organization intends to invite applications from suitable candidates who fulfill the basic qualification, experience, and eligibility criteria as stated against the given posts, for the following "CONTRACT BASED POSITIONS"

1. Deputy Project Director  (BS-20 Equivalent)

No . of Post 01             (Islamabad)

Qualification/Experience:

(1) Minimum of 16 years of education. Preference would be given to Master in Project Management from HEC-Recognized University. Preferably foreign qualified.

(2) In-depth Knowledge of Project Management and Implementation.

(3) Engineering background will be an added advantage.

(4) Preferably advanced certification in Contract Management, Monitoring & Evaluation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should be proficient in devising & updating Project Management Plan, Project Procurement plan, and Risk Management Plan, and respective tools and techniques

The candidate should be able to review, and assess Project Financials to develop solutions.

The candidate should be proficient in MS Project or Primavera for project mapping and reporting.

The candidate may have experience in training technical staff, especially for Project monitoring & evaluation.

The candidate may be PMP verified as a preference.

Age Limit and Experience:

The maximum Age limit is 48 years.

The candidate should have at least 15 years of post-qualification progressive managerial experience, preferably in the public sector with at least 07 years of exclusive project management experience in public sector donor-funded project works.

 

 

2. Director Coordination       (BS-19 Equivalent)

No . of Post 01             (Islamabad)

Qualification/Experience:

(1) Minimum of 16 years of education. Preference would be given to Master in Project Management from HEC-Recognized University.

(2) In-depth knowledge of the functioning of Public Sector Institutions, Good drafting skills, Public Procurement, overall Public Sector Management, and Project Management under FIDIC.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should be proficient in coordination with the relevant Ministries, Government Departments, Donor Agencies, Contractors, and Project Consultants for all Project related matters and to convene the meetings:

Candidate should be able to provide advice to the Project Director in all coordination matters by the contracts;

Candidate should be able to facilitate the Project Office to conduct Procurements under Donor Guidelines;

Candidate should be able to monitor and oversee all project documents including Monthly Contract Briefs, Semi-Annual Monitoring Reports, Land Acquisition and Resettlement, Site Environmental Monitoring, Daily Activity Reports and Fixed Assets Register, etc.;

The candidate should be proficient in MS Project or Primavera for Project mapping and reporting.

The candidate should be able to support the PMU in the Technical and Financial Evaluation of the Bids:

Candidate should be able to support the PMU in matters related to Dispute Allocation Boards and Arbitration;

Candidate should be able to conduct day-to-day procurements for the PMU under Public Procurement Rules 2004 Rules;

Candidate should be able to prepare the Scheduling and Risk Management Plans for the Project:

The candidate should be able to provide full Administrative and HR support to the PMU Candidate should be able to monitor the progress of International Consultancy Firms: The candidate should be able to facilitate the International Consultants to avail visas and NOCS to travel to the restricted areas from the concerned departments;

Candidate should be able to prepare and submit the Project Progress Briefs to the concerned Ministries, Donor, and Government Departments;

Candidate should be able to ensure all Admin and HR records are up to date, and auditable, at all times;

Candidate should be able to support and implement the tasks delegated by the Project Director:

Age Limit and Experience:

The maximum Age limit is 48 years.

The candidate should have at least 8 years of progressive managerial experience, preferably 05 years of experience in the public sector as well as Foreign / Donor Funded Projects including 05 years experience in coordination regarding monitoring & evaluation of the Project activities. Good knowledge of ICT& Security Equipment will be an added advantage.

Knowledge & Skills:

Training and Courses related to Result Base Management, Donor Guidelines, Project Life Cycle Management, Public Procurement Policies and Rules, PC-1 Preparation, Project Contract and Procurement Management, Time Management, Primavera, MS Project& Public Administration, etc.

 

3. Project Assistant     (BS-14 Equivalent)

No . of Post 02             (Islamabad)

Qualification/Experience:

(1) A Minimum of 12 years of Education, in any discipline, preferably bachelor's degree.

Eligibility Criteria:

Report generation, managing files, invoices, and all Secretarial support efficiently and professionally.

Extend secretarial support during periodic project audits.

Prepare draft progress reports, on standard template during to Planning Division and other stakeholders

Managing Admin records, utility bills, Courier Bills, Stock, and Asset register.

Periodic stock-taking and assisting officers with daily routine Work

Excellent IT analytical and Communication Skills

Experience working with AGPR will be preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of progressive Work experience, in any public/private sector, preferably in-depth knowledge of overall Public sector management, experience in Project Management, and knowledge of FIDIC.

 

4. Staff Office Boy

No . of Post 02             (Islamabad)

Qualification:

A minimum of 10 years of education, in any discipline.

Eligibility Criteria:

Good reading and writing Skills (Know-how of computers will be an added advantage). Candidates from all provinces can apply.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of work experience, in any public/private sector. (Preferably 05 Years of working Experience in the Public Sector)

 

5. Staff Car Driver

No . of Post 02             (Islamabad)

Qualification:

A minimum of 10 years of education. FA/FSC will be preferred.

Eligibility Criteria and Experience

Excellent Driving Skills.

At least two years Old Driving License.

Preferably 05 years of Driving Experience in Islamabad, with good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety signs.

Note:

The positions are purely temporary and on a fixed monthly salary.

Salary will be based on O.M.No.F.4(9)R-14/ 2008 dated 18.04.2022, issued by Regulation Wing of Finance Division, Government of Pakistan. No other allowance will be provided in addition to the package given under the above 0.M. of the Finance Division.
